His work has been recognised in several prestigious competitions. In Australia, he has been a semi-finalist in both the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and The Lester Prize for Portraiture. Internationally, he was a finalist in both the Portrait and Still Life categories of the Art Renewal Center International Salon in 2024 and 2025, widely regarded as one of the world's foremost competitions dedicated to realist art. In 2025, he was also selected as a semi-finalist in the Almenara Art Prize, an international competition based in Spain.

Several of Chris's works have additionally been chosen for inclusion in the Lunar Codex, a unique archive of contemporary cultural artefacts destined for preservation on the Moon.

Alongside his studio practice, Chris offers portrait and still life commissions, working closely with clients to create thoughtful, enduring works of art.
